Overview

Grandstand had a basic Figma prototype but needed athlete-facing collateral that could be customized per athlete. I designed modular Figma screens and a clickable prototype with real athlete content. I also explored the fan/athlete story through a self-initiated 3D promo video.

Role

  • Product design + prototype design in Figma (demo-ready flows)
  • Deck design system (modular slides + reusable patterns)
  • Content population (real athlete profiles, posts, handles, bios)
  • Motion direction + UI animation (self-initiated promo exploration)

Process / Approach

  • Reviewed the existing deck + prototype to identify why the pitch felt flat and where demo flows broke down
  • Built a modular Figma deck: upgraded typography hierarchy, refined charts/icons, and created reusable slide patterns
  • Populated the UI with real athlete content so demos felt authentic (not generic placeholders)
  • Prototyped end-to-end flows for walkthroughs (profile → timeline → post → link states) and structured the pitch so presenters could jump between slides and product screens cleanly
  • Created a self-initiated 3D + UI promo concept: storyboarded the fan flow and athlete flow, then explored the ‘inside the phone’ idea with Blender + UI cuts + sound timing

Result

Delivered an editable Figma pitch deck and a clickable prototype the team could duplicate and customize for new athletes without rebuilding from scratch. The self-initiated promo concept provides product storytelling, motion design, and flow thinking combined.
